Veronica Claire arrived this morning at 6:31. We’re all resting now–it was a long night–but we’ll probably be up for visitors later.

Update: she’s 7 pounds 3 ounces and 20.5 inches long. She’s got her mom’s features but looks like she got my hair. She came into the world with two inches of strawberry blonde hair which is all spiky and just begs to be punked into a cool baby mohawk!

    Although I’m not in favor of shaving V’s hair into a mohawk, I fully support the use of baby-safe hair products to achieve said look.

    Post pics when you do. And congrats. I’m glad people like you two have kids.

    Oh, most heartfelt congratulations! I’m so excited! Feel free to punk out the baby as much as possible. She’s too young and sleepy to care. :) Baby lotion works pretty good for temporary hair fun.

    And take advantage of the hospital visit to get some sleep. It’s not going to happen much after you leave!

    Congrats! I’m so excited for you both! I’m more than willing to be a phone call away for weird newborn questions. Acne, spit up and rashes abound! :) We’ll put off that dinner for awhile but I’ll try to drop off the ‘stuff’ so that you can paw through it at will. Love to you all,
